The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2024) for admissions to BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programs at National Law University Delhi will take place on December 10, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm across the country.
Before the Exam:
- Download and Print Admit Card: Download your AILET 2024 admit card from the official website and print a clear copy.
- Valid ID Proof: Carry a valid government-issued photo ID proof like Aadhar card, voter ID, passport, driving license, etc., along with your admit card.
- Exam Timings: Reporting time for AILET 2024 is usually one hour before the exam starts. The exam generally starts at 11:00 AM and ends at 1:00 PM.
- Items to Carry: You can only carry the following items to the exam hall:
- AILET Admit Card
- Valid Photo ID Proof
- Transparent water bottle
- Blue/Black ballpoint pen
- Face mask and sanitizer
- Items Not Allowed: Do not carry any electronic devices like phones, watches, calculators, etc., to the exam hall. Also, avoid carrying any bags, books, or study materials.
- Reach on Time: Plan your travel well in advance to avoid any last-minute delays. Reach the exam center at least one hour before the reporting time.
- Dress Code: Wear comfortable and modest clothing. Avoid wearing any clothing with large buttons, badges, or jewelry that may create a disturbance.
Students should arrive at the test centre an hour early to find their seats as per the seating plan. They’re required to bring pens (blue or black), their admit card, a valid photo ID (like Aadhaar card or school ID), and a transparent water bottle. Sharing pens isn’t allowed during the exam.
Candidates aren’t permitted to bring communication devices like cell phones or electronic gadgets such as digital watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, pagers, health bands, or calculators into the exam hall.
Analog watches may be allowed. Important instructions on the Question Booklet and OMR Response sheet will be visible through a plastic cover, and candidates must read them before the 11 am start time. Opening the packet is only allowed at exactly 11 am.
At 1 pm, candidates should stop writing and return the OMR Response Sheet to the invigilator. Taking the OMR Response sheet outside the center will lead to disqualification.
During the Exam:
- Follow Instructions: Listen carefully to the instructions given by the invigilators and follow them strictly.
- Marking Answers: Use only a blue/black ballpoint pen to mark your answers on the OMR sheet. Shade the circle completely with a dark mark.
- Time Management: Manage your time effectively. Allocate sufficient time to each section of the exam.
- Reviewing Answers: Review your answers carefully before submitting the OMR sheet. Be sure to erase any unwanted markings completely.
- Maintain Discipline: Maintain silence and discipline in the exam hall. Refrain from communicating with other candidates or engaging in any unfair practices.
- Completing the Exam: You must stay in the exam hall until all OMR sheets are collected by the invigilator. Do not leave the hall before the exam ends.
The AILET happens once a year for admission to NLU Delhi’s law programs.
