CBSE Board Examination 31k Students Appear in 2024

In Ludhiana, a total of 31,238 students from the district are set to participate in the upcoming CBSE board examinations for Classes X and XII, scheduled to commence on February 15.

CBSE Board: The Class X exams are slated to conclude on March 13, while the Class XII exams will wrap up on April 2. Across approximately 35 centers within the district, 16,153 students are expected to take the Class X board exams, with another 15,085 appearing for the Class XII exams.

CBSE city coordinator AP Sharma provided insights, stating, “A total of 16,153 students will be taking the CBSE Class X exams, and 15,085 will be participating in the Class XII board exams. CBSE has made extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of exams. A meeting with relevant officials is scheduled for next week, and there is a possibility of forming teams of flying squads.”

Deputy CBSE city coordinator Harmeet Kaur Waraich mentioned, “During the meeting, we will communicate guidelines to the center superintendents, including instructions on accommodating students with special needs and those requiring assistance from writers.”

Furthermore, she emphasized, “Center superintendents are responsible for ensuring the timely distribution of question papers, especially for exams scheduled on the second and fourth Saturdays, considering they are bank holidays.”
