The Alim examination is a senior secondary level examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madarsa Board.

The examination is conducted in two parts, Part I and Part II. Part I consists of compulsory subjects such as Urdu, Arabic, and General Knowledge.
Part II consists of elective subjects such as Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
The examination will be held in two shifts, morning shift from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and evening shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least one hour before the commencement of the examination.
The candidates must bring their admit card, identity card, and two passport size photographs to the examination center.
The candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, etc. to the examination center.
The candidates are advised to start their preparation for the examination well in advance. They can refer to the previous year’s question papers and model papers to get an idea of the type of questions asked in the examination.
They can also join coaching classes for better preparation.
The candidates who qualify the Alim examination 2024 are eligible to take admission in the Futher courses.
