HBSE Board Exam 2024: The Haryana School Education Board (HBSE) is kicking off its 10th and 12th examinations today, February 27. Dr. VP Yadav, Chairman of the Education Board, announced the implementation of Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) around all exam centers to ensure smooth conduct. These exams will take place at 1484 centers across the state, with a total of 5,80,533 candidates scheduled to participate.
The Haryana Board Exam 2024 will run in a single session from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm, requiring candidates to arrive at the centers 30 minutes beforehand and adhere to instructions on their admit cards. The use of electronic devices like mobile phones and pagers is strictly prohibited.
Comprising 25% objective-type questions, each carrying one mark, the exams will maintain a consistency of around 96% across all four sets of question papers, with a minor 4% variance. Additionally, the order of questions will differ in each set. The answer sheets for both Class 10th and 12th exams will undergo digital marking.
The Class 10 board exams are scheduled to conclude on March 26, 2024, while the Class 12 exams will finish on April 2, 2024. This year, a total of 5,80,533 candidates will participate across 1,482 examination centers in the state, with 3,03,869 students appearing for Class 10 exams and 2,21,484 for senior secondary exams.
Furthermore, 55,190 candidates, including 23,270 for secondary and 31,910 for senior secondary classes, will sit for the open school board exams.
