Students have accused Jabalpur Rani Durgavati University of neglecting to administer the MSc Computer Science first semester exam, as scheduled on March 5, 2024. Chaos ensued as students, blindfolded, protested to meet the Vice Chancellor. They claimed the Jabalpur University failed to conduct the exam despite releasing the schedule and admit cards.
The NSUI alleges that the cancellation, if any, should have been communicated to all affected students beforehand. However, the university’s failure to do so caused inconvenience to the students, numbering ten for this particular examination.

In response to the irregularity, the Vice Chancellor has initiated an investigation. The Jabalpur University had initially released the timetable for various exams, including MSc Chemistry Third Semester and Computer Science First and Third Semesters, on February 14, 2024, with exams scheduled between February 21 and March 13 from 8 am to 11 am.
The missing examination, “Computer Organization and Assembly Language” for MSc first semester, prompted students, including those from other districts, to arrive at the university on time, only to find no exam prepared. Subsequently, the Jabalpur University officials, including the Vice Chancellor and Registrar, promptly issued a new schedule for the exam and allowed three days for those involved in conducting the exam to provide explanations regarding the irregularity.
