The final JEE Mains 2024 Answer Key is now available on nta.ac.in, and it confirms that no questions have been omitted.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the definitive JEE Mains 2024 Answer Key for the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2024 Paper 2 for the first session exam. Conducted on January 24, JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 was aimed at admission to BArch and BPlanning programs. The final answer key is hosted on nta.ac.in.
JEE Main Paper 2 for the first session exam was conducted for 400 marks and comprised three sections. Mathematics and aptitude tests were common for both papers and administered as computer-based tests, while the drawing test for BArch was pen-paper-based and the BPlanning paper included planning-based questions.
Initially, NTA released the provisional JEE Mains 2024 Answer Key Paper 2 on February 7, allowing candidates to challenge it until February 9. The current release of the answer key incorporates considerations from these objections without dropping any questions.
The marking scheme for JEE Main Paper 2 includes:
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): Four marks for each correct answer and a deduction of one mark for each incorrect answer.
- Questions with numerical value answers: Four marks for each correct answer with no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Drawing Test: Two questions are assessed, totaling 100 marks.
The results for JEE Main Paper 2 are anticipated. Out of 74,002 registered candidates, 55,493 appeared for the exam in January 2024.
