The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the interview schedule for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination, 2023.
The Personality Test (Interview) for the IES/ISS Examination, 2023 will be held from December 19 to 21, 2023, at the Commission’s Office,
Candidates who have qualified in the written exam are eligible to appear for the interview. The interview will be conducted in English and Hindi (for the Hindi language candidates). The duration of the interview will be 20 minutes for each candidate.
Candidates are advised to download their E-Summon Cards from the UPSC website at www.upsc.gov.in or upsconline.in. The E-Summon Cards will be available from December 10, 2023, onwards.
Candidates must carry their E-Summon Cards, along with a valid photo ID proof, to the interview venue.
Important Instructions
- Candidates must reach the interview venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of their interview.
- No electronic devices, including mobile phones, calculators, etc., are allowed inside the interview venue.
- Candidates must follow the COVID-19 safety guidelines as instructed by the exam center authorities.
Interview Pattern
The interview will be conducted by a Board of three senior officers. The interview will assess the candidate’s personality, intelligence, and aptitude for the services. The interview will also assess the candidate’s general knowledge, current affairs, and ability to think critically and analytically.
