Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the Bihar Post Matric Scholarship:
The candidate has to live in Bihar permanently.
Within the state of Bihar, the applicant must be enrolled in Post Matric courses at any authorized government or non-government institution. These include Inter, Graduation, Post Graduate (PG), ITI, Three Year Diploma/Polytechnic, B.Ed., Medical, Engineering, Law, Management, and Agricultural.
The applicant needs to have received at least 50% of the possible points on the last class exam.
Bihar Post Matric Scholarship applications are open to students who fall into the SC, ST, Backward Class (BC), and Extremely Backward Class (EBC) categories and whose parent(s)’ combined annual income does not exceed Rs. 3,00,000/-. Will obtain
There shouldn’t have been any other scholarships awarded to the candidate for the same course from any other source.

How to apply for the Bihar Post Matric Scholarship (PMS Online) 2023 online
To apply online for the Bihar Post Matric Scholarship for students in Bihar who are BC, EBC, SC, or ST, take the following steps:
Process Online for Bihar Post Matric Scholarship
- Step 1: Visit the official Post Matric Scholarship website at http://pmsonline.bih.nic.in/, and from the home page, choose the “Student registration” option.
- Step 2: Complete the application by following the system’s instructions, then click the “Save” button.
- Step 3: You will receive an email or SMS with your login information as soon as your student registration is approved.
- Step 4: To access the PMS portal, enter your email address, mobile number, or student login name.
- Step 5: Complete the application form by entering all required information, then click the “Save” button.
- Step 6: Scanned copies of the original papers should be uploaded to the website in PDF format (150 KB in size).
- Step 7: Complete your Post Matric Scholarship application and select “Print” to get a copy for your records.

Please upload scanned copies of all the original documents requested in the online application for the post-matric scholarship. The following is a list of documents that need to be uploaded:
Student’s Aadhaar card, student photo, and institution’s Bonafide certificate
Fee receipt from the establishment
The Bihar government’s competent authority issued the following certificates: Income Certificate, Previous Degree Passing Certificate, Residential Certificate, and Caste Certificate.
